Destin Daniel Cretton to Direct Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi’

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Destin Daniel Cretton is set to direct Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi. Cretton is best known for his 2013 film, Short Term 12, and 2017’s The Glass Castle.  For those who are not aware, the character is a Martial Artist of an Asian-American descent. He was created by Steve Engleheart and Jim Starlin. The character made his debut in Special Marvel Edition #15, which was released in December, 1973. Michael Waldon to Showrun Disney+ “Loki” Series

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Michael Waldon will be executive producing, writing, and act as the show creator of the upcoming Loki series that will be streamed exclusively on Disney+. As reported earlier, the series will be among the various series based on characters on the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will be streamed on the platform. Tom Hiddelston is set to reprise his role as the titular character. Loki & Scarlet Witch to Receive TV Series on Disney’s Streaming Service

Variety has reported that Loki and Scarlett Witch will apparently receive their own shows on the upcoming Disney streaming service. While much is not known about the projects currently, it has been reported that Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are set to reprise their roles for the shows.
