Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Vanity Fair Covers Revealed

The official Vanity Fair magazine website has updated with the reveal of four new magazine covers that feature Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The covers feature several of the new outfits for the returning cast including a first full look at Rose, played by Kelly Marie Tran.  Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will premiere in theaters on December, 15, 2017.    Personally I think that Vanity did a great tribute to Carrie Fisher and I hope she has a great final role in the upcoming film.  Source: Vanity Fair

SWCO 2017: Star Wars Forces Of Destiny Toyline Announced

Disney and Hasbro has announced at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 that they are teaming up to create a new toyline called Star Wars Forces of Destiny.   The toyline will be accompanied by a micro series of shorts focusing on several of the main female heroes of the franchise.  Some of the characters include Princess Leia, Sabine Wren, Jyn Erso, Rey, and more.  The series will launch on Disney’s official Youtube channel in July and a two part TV special including eight new shorts will air on the Disney Channel this Fall. Casting News: Sterling K Brown Joins Black Panther Film

Coming at you with some casting news. Marvel announced that Sterling K Brown will be joining the upcoming Black Panther film. The character he will be playing is N’Jobu who is described as a  figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past. I’ve said this multiple times but the Black Panther film is going to be phenomenal. Entertainment Weekly has recently announced that they will be a special 3D Collector’s Edition for Star Wars Episode VII : The Force Awakens.  The “3D Collector’s Edition” will be a four disc set that includes more bonus features not included with the previous releases.
