The Hollywood Reporter has reported that David Dastmalchian is joining the cast of The Suicide Squad as Polka-Dot Man. David has in been in several live-action adaptations of comic book movies such as Thomas Schiff in The Dark Knight and more recently as Kurt in both the MCU Ant-Man films. Variety has reported that John Cena is in talks to join the cast of “The Suicide Squad.” In addition it has been confirmed that Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney will be returning to portray Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang, respectively. Ewan McGregor in Talks to Play Black Mask in DC’s “Birds of Prey”

Variety has reported that Ewan McGregor is in talks to portray Black Mask in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, “Birds of Prey.”    For those are not aware, the film will focus on the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Windstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as they team-up to fight against Black Mask. Jurnee Smollett-Bell & Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Birds of Prey Cast

Variety has reported that Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Mary Elizabeth Windstead will be joining the cast of Birds of Prey. For those who are not aware, the film is a live-action adaptation of the Birds of Prey comic series and will be produced by Margot Robbie. Margot Robbie portrayed Harley Quinn in the 2016 Suicide Squad film and will reprise her role in Birds of Prey. Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary, while Windstead will be portraying Huntress. Several new outlets have reported that Cathy Yan is set to direct the next DC spinoff film, which will focus on Harley Quinn.  The film will be based on the Birds of the Prey comic series and Margot Robbie will return to reprise the titular role.
