Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Legends Class Beachcomber

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Before anything else I am quite happy that Hasbro has finally made an update to Beachcomber since there has been really no real modern updates to the character up to this point. While there was a Legends Class figure in the classics line technically it wasn’t quite a full update since it was made in the much smaller older styled legends scale. The new version of Beachcomber is pretty much what I think is a perfect update…

Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Swoop

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. It is great to see an update to Swoop especially since he is the only Dinobot I haven’t gotten in the original G1 toyline. Do the fact that the original release was quite fragile it isn’t easy to get that figure. Luckily Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Swoop does the character justice and then some. I am quite impressed that Hasbro decided to go with the blue paint scheme since they could have easily went with…

Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Slug

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Slug is pretty much what you would want for a great update for the character. Outside of the somewhat annoying transformation and the lack of articulated horns I personally think he turned out great. It is a shame that he doesn’t have his sword, however it is nice to see any weapons at all seeing how Hasbro has been releasing figures nowadays. In conclusion it is amazing to see an actual full update to some of the…

Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Legends Class Windcharger

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review.  For the first review of 2018 I decided to take a look at Transformers Power of the Primes Legends Class Windcharger.  Windcharger is actually a quite surprising fun figure in the Power of the Primes toyline. Seeing as Hasbro released a generations update of the character during Reveal the Shield it didn’t seem like they would be releasing a better version of the character. While there was a Windcharger during the Titan Returns line it didn’t make…

Review: Transformers Legends LG-52 Targetmaster Misfire

Targetmaster LG-52 Misfire is another great release in Takara’s Transformers Legends line. Seeing as it is the second out of the main three Targetmasters it is great to see that it outshines Triggerhappy in many ways. It does have some wonky transformation issues such as the pegs not being able to secure on the body as well as I hoped, although at least the robot mode is good. Aimless may not be too different than Blowpipe in the grand scheme of things, but it does have enough differences to help…

Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Dreadwind

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. It is amazing that Hasbro has managed to make another update to a character that was exclusive to the Japanese G1 trilogy. While Dreadwind did get released in the states the character itself made its animated apperance in Transformers: Super-God Masterforce. The toy itself is made in the original Hasbro colors, however I am personally okay with it since I actually like both the Hasbro/ Takara color schemes. Dreadwind aka Dreadwing is a major retool of Skydive…

Review: Transformers Takara Legends LG-49 Targetmaster Triggerhappy

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Transformers Takara Legends LG-49 Triggerhappy is an example of how a bit of extra polish can make the overall presentation that much better. The Hasbro version of Triggerhappy was decent enough, however the new white and potentially different shade of blue color scheme that is featured on the Takara version of the character is stronger in my opinion. Not only that is great to see the first Decepticon Targetmaster (sans Nightstick from Generations Deluxe Class Cyclonus)…

Review: Transformers Titan Returns Deluxe Class Twin Twist

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. It is great to see that both Twin Twist and Topspin made in into the Generations line. Seeing as both characters are somewhat more obscure than even several of the Generation One characters it is awesome to see new updates for them. Twintwist isn’t too different compared to “his brother,” however the new tooled parts really help separate him from Topspin. In conclusion if you are fan of the Wreckers or the “Jumpstaters” than I highly…

Review: Transformers Legends LG-46 Targetmaster Kup

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. When Hasbro announced that they would be making a new Kup I was excited to see a much better representation of the character get made for the Generations line. Seeing as the older Generations version didn’t quite reach my expectations I was quite happy to see that the character would be getting another update. However, that being said I decided to wait for Takara Tomy’s take on the character since the Hasbro version didn’t make the full…
