Tokyo Comic Con: Ultraman Anime Directors Revealed

During the Tokyo Comic Con, Tsuburaya Productions hosted an Ultraman event to unveil the staff and team behind the 2019 anime series! Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Harlock: Space Pirate) are announced to be co-directing the adaptation of Eiichi Shimizu, and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s Ultraman manga. In addition, Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts, studios attributed to both directors, will be producing the series in 3D CG. Over the past few days, Tsuburaya Productions had a countdown clock running pertaining to Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s Ultraman manga. Premium Bandai has updated with an official preorder page for Ultra-Act x S.H.Figuarts Bemular.  The figure is based on the appearance of the character in the Ultraman manga series by Eiichi Shimizu.
