Universal To Produce The Live Action Voltron Film

Deadline has confirmed that Universal is now in charge of the Live-Action Voltron film project.  The project will be scripted by David Hayter, the Guyver and voice of Solid Snake, who is also famous for being the script writer for the first two X-Men films and the Watchmen film.  Currently not much else is known about the project and it is unclear what direction the project will take since it stated to be an “inherited project.”  Stay tuned for updates. Today at 9:00 am EST, Tamashii Nations uploaded a teaser image on their Twitter. This image was non-other than Soul of Chogokin Beast King GoLion a.k.a. Voltron, Defender of the Universe. The image teases the official reveal of the figure at the Bandai booth during San Diego Comic Con, from July 21 to the July 24, 2016.
