Square Enix has recently updated their official Youtube channel with the Tokyo Game Show 2019 trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake. The latest trailer features a deeper look at the game’s story and showcases several of the big events that happened on Midgar. Some of the highlights include showing a first full look of the Turks as well as two of the summonings, Ifrit and Shiva. Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released for the Playstation 4 worldwide on March 3, 2020.Â
I am really impressed with the presentation of this trailer and it does a good job showcasing some of the major events that happened in the game. It is also really nice to hear some new dialogue and I am really glad to finally see the characters in fully voiced roles. The heavy text made it sometimes a slog to get through older RPGs, however I do understand it was due to technical limitations at the time. The remake looks like it will be a blast to play and hopefully the story is a bit altered to make more sense compared to the original version.
