Netflix has updated their official Youtube channel with a trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne. For those who are not aware, the series is a follow up series for the original Castlevania animated series on Netflix, which premiered in 2017. The final season of the series premiered on the service in May 2021. As reported earlier, the new series will focus on Richter Belmont and Maria Renard. The series will be set in France during the French Revolution. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.

Castlevania: Nocturne, a new Netflix animated series, is officially in production. The series is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley and produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo Castlevania games.
I am really glad to see another series based in the Castlevania series is coming in the near future. It will also be awesome to see Richter in animation and seeing his stories unfold. While it is sad we did not get to see when this series will premiere knowing Powerhouse Animation’s track record I know this series is going to look fantastic.
