Netflix has updated their official Youtube channel for the live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation that will be streaming exclusively on the service. The trailer showcases a look at the setting of the series with some pretty cool effects that transition between the various scenes. It is highly likely the effects are exclusive to the trailer, however it is a great way to preview the series without the need of spoiling full scenes. The live-action Cowboy Bebop series will premiere on the service on November 19.
After seeing this new trailer I personally think there is a lot of potential in this series. While it is easy to knock on live-action adaptations of anime I think the team did a good job so far trying to capture the setting of the series. That being said it is important to see it fully in action before making any premature judgements. Overall I think I am liking what I am seeing so far so I will most likely try out a few episodes once it hit the service.
