Premium Bandai has updated their website with an official pre-order page for S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchu Seihou Golden Knight Garo (Saejima Kouga). For those who are unaware the figure is based on the first incarnation of Garo in the original 2005 Tokusatsu series. Kraken Releasing Licenses Garo: Kiba – The Dark Knight!

Section23 Films has recently announced that they have licensed the Garo: Kiba -The Dark Knight! (Kiba ~ Ankoku Kishi Gaiden ~) v-cinema, which is set to release on Blu-ray on February 20.    Kraken Releasing provided a synopsis for the special. The official Garo Project Youtube channel has updated with a teaser trailer for Garo: Divine Fang (GARO: Kami no Kiba). The film is the latest project for the Garo franchise that will be released in Japanese theaters on January 6, 2018. Garo: Divine Fang will be directed and written by franchise creator, Keita Amemiya. Garo Collection 1 Blu-Ray Set Revealed

Recently Section23 Films released a press release that features their releases throughout the month of October. One of the highlights is that the first Blu-ray volume for the Garo live-action series will be releasing during that period. Garo Collection 1, as it is titled will be sold at the MSRP of $39.98. Keita Amemiya Announces New Garo Projects

Keita Amemiya, creator of the Garo franchise, has recently announced that three new Garo productions are currently in the works.  Two productions will be live-action while the third will be a new anime series. The first project will be called Divine Fang (Kami no Kiba).  While there isn’t much known about this project, the kanji implies that Jinga (Masahiro Inoue), Gold Storm Sho’s main villain, will be featured.   The second project will be called The Moonlight Traveler (Gekkou no Tabibito).  Once again not much is known about this project. It was recently announced that Monsterama that Kraken Releasing has licensed the original Garo tokusatsu series in North America. The series is planned to be released in 2017 and they are also looking to release further installments of Garo.
