Review: Fright Comics – Captives #1

What’s going on heroes? Today, we have a comic review on Captives #1 produced by Fright Comics. The series is written by Alexander Banchitta with Robert Ahmad penciling pages 1, 7-23. The inks for those pages were done by Dan Parsons. Whereas Vojislav Vasiljevic did the art for pages 2-7 along with the inside cover. The cover for this issue was done by Mike Dubisch. Finally, Fred D Stresing did the lettering.   To start off this may seem a bit different from what I usually read or review, but I enjoyed it. Captives…

Review: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi 6 Inch Black Series Finn (First Order Disguise)

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. The latest version of Finn in the Star Wars 6 Inch Black Series line is actually better than I anticipated. Due to the fact that there is still very little in terms of information regarding Episode VIII: The Last Jedi it is unknown how long Finn will be in this particular outfit within the run time of the film. Because of this I was unsure if I was willing to buy this particular outfit for Finn since…

Ultraman Geed Episode 18 – Inheritor of the Dream Review

Ultraman Belial is now dead, or at least that is what the show wants viewers to believe. However, smart fans know that Belial will be back soon, especially since there is Ultraman Belial Atrocious coming! Now, as for the latest episode, it focuses on Kei’s current situation, and it is an odd one; somehow Kei Fukuide is suffering from amnesia! In addition, Kei finds himself a stalker, and possible love-interest!?!   Summary: Galaxy Market continues to use Belial’s defeat as method for profit, and Riku questions what do with his…

Review: Transformers Legends LG-46 Targetmaster Kup

Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. When Hasbro announced that they would be making a new Kup I was excited to see a much better representation of the character get made for the Generations line. Seeing as the older Generations version didn’t quite reach my expectations I was quite happy to see that the character would be getting another update. However, that being said I decided to wait for Takara Tomy’s take on the character since the Hasbro version didn’t make the full…

Gunpla Dojo: HGBF 58 Star Burning Gundam Review

With the release of Gundam Build Fighters: GM’s Counterattack, Sunrise produced various kits based on the special. From this product came the missing link between the Star Build Strike and the Build Burning. That being the Star Burning Gundam, Sei Iori’s Gunpla intended for Reiji should he ever return. The kit/suit is built around fusing elements from Seed era Mobile Suits, and G Gundam’s Mobile Suits produced by Neo Japan. One can easily see the references to both the Shining Gundam, and the Burning Gundam through its head and forearms.…

Review: Transformers The Last Knight Autobots Unite Deluxe Class Hot Rod

Hello Hero Club this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Transformers Last Knight Autobots Unite Deluxe Class Hot Rod is quite the anomaly in the way that he was released. Seeing as the figure was promoted as a Walmart exclusive figure it is strange to see that it not only took a long time to actually be released, but also is also releasing as a standard release as well. As many fans have pointed out the figure seems to be using the Transformers Age of Extinction…

Review: Transformers Titan Returns Leader Class Overlord

Hello Hero Club this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Before anything else I can say that it is quite “frustrating” how Hasbro and Takara decided to design Overlord. It was a expected that Takara Tomy would make their version of the figure more accurate, however sadly it didn’t turn out to be the case. With that I can personally say that I enjoy Hasbro’s take on the figure much better. Although I don’t have Sky Shadow I can understand why many fans enjoy the mold and…

Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands Review

This will be a spoiler-free review of Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands. So no need to worry about spoilers in this particular review. Alright, so we’re introduced to Black Lightning stopping a few criminals who call themselves “The Weathermen”. I have to say it’s interesting seeing Tony Isabella writing this character once again. I haven’t really read that much Black Lightning in terms of comics. I know he’s had a miniseries here and there during the New 52 but I wasn’t inclined to pick them up. Hearing Tony was going…

Review: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi 6 Inch Black Series Elite Praetorian Guard

Hello Hero Club this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. The Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi 6 Inch Black Series Elite Praetorian Guard has to be the most bizarre figure in the line in my opinion. The figure’s articulation is strange especially since it doesn’t match the basic articulation design that most of the figures feature. The weapon is a bit on the small side, which does make some poses look a bit weird. I can say while the armor design may look bland in…
