Sony Pictures Entertainment has updated their official Youtube channel with the first official teaser trailer for Venom. Those who haven’t been following the project, the film is a part of Sony’s Marvel Universe, which is separate from the MCU. The trailer features a look at the setting of the film. The confirmed cast consists of: Tom Hardy: Eddie Brock / Venom  Michelle Williams: Ann Weying Riz Ahmed Reid Scott Sony Picture’s Venom will be released in theaters on October 5. Spider-Man Spinoff Film: Silver and Black Director Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed some details about the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off film titled, “Silver and Black.”  The name suggests that the film will focus on Silver Sable and Black Cat. The film will be produced by Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal with the film set at a October 2018 premiere date. The recent draft for the film will written by Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) with the help of Lisa Joy (HBO’s Westworld).  The director for the film is Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees).
