Anime Expo 2017: FLCL 2 & FLCL 3 Release Details & Teaser

Today, Production I.G. and Adult Swim revealed at Anime Expo information on the upcoming Fooly Cooly sequels, FLCL 2, and FLCL 3. The panel was hosted by Production I.G.’s Maki Terashima-Furuta, and Toonami’s Jason DeMarco. The two revealed that both, FLCL 2 and FLCL 3, will span six episodes per season, and set to air in 2018. DeMarco also reiterated that Japanese rock-band, The Pillows, would return to provide music for the series. Viz Media Reveals Terraformars English Dub Cast

Yesterday at Anime Expo, Viz Media announced the English dub staff, and cast for the TerraFormars anime. TerraFormars is an adaptation of Yū Sasuga’s and Kenichi Tachibana’s manga series which premiered in September 2014. The series follows an expedition team’s battle on Mars with mutated cockroaches, seeking to exterminate humans. To combat these mutant cockroaches that were once used for the terraforming process of the planet, the expedition team undergo “Bugs Procedure,” experimental surgery designed to make them superhuman. Anime Expo 2017: Ultimate Deco Super Saiyan Goku Exclusive Revealed

Bandai America has announced that they will be offering a special Utimate Deco Super Saiyan Goku figure exclusively at Anime Expo 2017. For those who are unaware, Bandai America is soon to be releasing “Power Rangers Legacy” stylized figures based on the Dragon Ball characters. The actual figure line is called, Dragon Ball Super Dragon Stars, with the first wave set to release this August. First 7-Minutes of Accel World: Infinite Burst

Yesterday, Niconico and AbemaTV began streaming the first 7-minutes of Accel World: Infinite Burst film, on the film’s YouTube Channel and will be available until July 29. For attendees that where at Anime Expo earlier this month, they were the first to see the footage as it made its debut there. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto & The Pillows Returning for FLCL 2

Yesterday, at the FLCL 2 panel at Anime Expo 2016 vice president and producer at Production I.G., Maki Terashima-Furuta announced that the original character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Neon Genesis Evangelion, .hack franchise, Attack on Titan live-action films) is returning for the sequel. Along with the return of Sadamoto, Terashima-Furuta announced Japanese rock band, The Pillows are also returning to provide music for the series.
