Gematsu has recently reported that Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena will launch on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop on September 21 as a free to play game.  Digimon Universe : Appli Monsters Cyber Arena will let players experience the first part of the retail version of the game.  While the retail game launch date has not been revealed, the free eShop version will allow players to battle friends and gain special items by playing it every day.  The save data for the eShop version of the game will allow players to transfer save data…

Digimon Universe Appmon Manga Revealed

Recently two new manga series based on the upcoming Digimon Universe Appli Monsters anime series have been announced. Not much is known about these two manga series, however some minor details have been revealed.  The first series will begin on September 21st in the V-Jump magazine and it will be written by Akamine Noaki. Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters 3DS First Trailer Released

Bandai Namco just revealed the first trailer for the upcoming 3DS title Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters. Appli Monsters is the next installment in the long-running Digimon franchise, which will be released as both a Deck Battle RPG video game on the 3DS, as well it will be receiving a TV Anime that starts this October. The official website for Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters revealed yesterday, information concerning additional cast members and characters. The new listing adds two more members, Rei Katsura voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, a 14-year old junior high student that pursues Haru. His Buddy AppMon is Hackmon voiced by Daisuke Sakaguchi, who is most likely an alternate version of the pre-evolution to Royal Knight, Jesmon.
