The time has finally come for the world to see the first trailer for the Netflix original series, Godzilla: Monster Planet! Godzilla: Monster Planet is the 32nd installment to franchise, however it is also the first Godzilla film to be animated. In addition, Godzilla: Monster Planet is the first film in trilogy of anime films for the King of the Monsters. Godzilla Anime 2nd Visual & Story Setting Revealed

The official website for the upcoming Godzilla anime film has updated with some new details about the project. Netflix to Stream Godzilla Anime Worldwide

Netflix has announced that the Godzilla anime film will be streaming globally sometime this year. The film’s cast consists of: Yuuki Kaji Takahiro Sakurai Mamoru Miyano Junichi Suwabe Kana Hanazawa Tomokazu Sugita The Godzilla anime film is directed by Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita. Screenplay for the film will be written by Gen Urobuchi. Gen Urobuchi to Write Godzilla Anime 2017 Film

Earlier today, Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Kamen Rider Gaim) teased a new project that he be working on via Twitter, which was revealed to be a Godzilla anime film. The Godzilla-anime website was also updated featuring promotional art, and reveals it will be released in 2017. Crunchyroll to Stream Thunderbolt Fantasy

Crunchyroll recently announced that they will be streaming the Japanese/Taiwanese co-production series “Thunderbolt Fantasy”. The series is not an anime, but is instead a puppet show-like series, with writer Gen “The Urobutcher” Urobuchi involved in some fashion.
