NYCC 2018: Marvel Legends Reveals

Hasbro and various other sources revealed images of the new Marvel Legends at that were shown at New York Comic Con 2018. Comparing the new reveals with the previous reveals from the recent conventions, 2019 is looking to be another strong year for the toyline. NYCC 2018: Super 7 She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Figures Revealed

IGN has revealed official Hasbro images of the Transformers: Siege reveals at New York Comic Con 2018. The reveals include various fan favorites including long time requested characters that will be receiving the Transformers Generations treatment. New York Comic Con to Host Cowboy Bebop Writer & Designers

Yesterday, Funimation Entertainment announced that it will be bringing screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, and mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane to New York Comic Con. They will be attending as guests to appear at the Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary retrospective panel. In addition, Funimation is hosting a contest to win a dinner with all three staff members. IDW Sonic the Hedgehog Comic Series Release Date Announced

Within the mix of the NYCC 2017 news, IDW Publishing announced the the release details for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. For those who are unaware the original main Sonic the Hedgehog comics series that was published Archie Comics finished it’s run on July 19 this year.  The series ran from November 22, 1992 – July 19, 2017 so it did have a long run. Marvel Cancels Partnership with Northrop Grumman

Coming at you with some news this Monday morning. During New-York Comic-Con, Marvel Entertainment had announced that they were teaming up with Northrop Grumman for a one issue comic that was going to be distributed at the convention. Due to fan outcry since Northrop Grumman is a known military weapons developer. Marvel Entertainment decided to cancel the partnership. NYCC 2017: Viz Media Licenses 2 Pokémon Sun & Moon Manga

Viz Media has announced at New York Comic Con 2017 that they have licensed two new Pokémon Sun & Moon Manga titles. The first manga series is the Pokémon Sun & Moon (Pocket Monsters Special Sun Moon) manga series by Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto.  The second title is Pokémon Horizon: Sun & Moon by Tenya Yabuno.  They have also licensed the Pompom Pokémon craft book. The Pokémon Adventures (Pocket Monsters: Special) manga series’ Sun/Moon arc debuted in the CoroCoro Ichiban! magazine on November 21, 2016.
