Star Wars’ Obi-Wan Kenobi Film in Development

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that Stephen Daldry is in early talks to direct a standalone Star Wars film featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi.  Since the talks are in a very early stage of development no other details about the project are known at this time. If the plan follows through the film will be joining the set of standalone Star Wars projects such as Rogue One and the upcoming Han Solo films.  Other projects including films based on Yoda and Boba Fett are also currently in consideration. Star Wars Rebels Season 3 Blu-ray/ DVD Release Date Announced

Over the weekend, New York Toy Fair 2017 continued with some new toy reveals for the 40th Anniversary for the Star Wars franchise.  Entertainment Weekly posted official images from Hasbro that feature the new toys. Day 3 of Star Wars Rogue Week: Ben Kenobi Positives: Figure includes a soft goods cloak (took Hasbro long enough to release a figure with one). Pretty good likeness to Sir Alec Guinness in my opinion. Articulation is done well for the figure. Negatives: While the articulation is good, double jointed elbows would have benefited a lot.
