NECA has recently announced one of their exclusive releases that they will be offering at San Diego Comic Con 2019. The first out of the six releases they will be releasing at SDCC 2019 will be the “The Capture of Splinter” 4 Pack. Deadline has reported that a movie based on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently being produced by Nickelodeon Studios and is set to release on Netflix. The project was announced during the recent first-quarter earnings call between Viacom and the Wall Street analysts. Gamestop has recently updated their official online store website with pre-orders for the NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 90s Movie figures.  For those who are not aware, NECA were unable to sell the 6-7 inch scale figures based on the TMNT brand due to Playmates Toys owning the master toy license for the franchise. Thanks to Gamestop, however it seems NECA were able to finally release these figures at retail, albeit as exclusives to the store. We have the first trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. The show is titled “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and I am loving the art style and the new direction this series is going with the turtles. One thing that was revealed at San-Diego Comic-Con is that the turtles look different because each of them are based on different turtles, which is neat.
