Today at San Diego Comic Con, Legendary Pictures has “members” of Monsterverse’s Monarch interacting with con goers. From these interactions fans got to see first-hand a teaser image of Mothra. This teaser image features Mothra’s design in Godzilla: King of the Monster. However, the image is based on one of the tablets located in the film’s Temple of the Moth. The time has finally come for the world to see the first trailer for the Netflix original series, Godzilla: Monster Planet! Godzilla: Monster Planet is the 32nd installment to franchise, however it is also the first Godzilla film to be animated. In addition, Godzilla: Monster Planet is the first film in trilogy of anime films for the King of the Monsters. Now, I did not expect to ever find this figure in-store! The NECA Godzilla 2001 figure is roughly a half year to year old at this time, but still a wonderful figure. NECA manages to capture the SokogekiGoji suit as best as they can, but there are some flaws whether it be sculpt, paint, or articulation. Today, Legendary Pictures confirmed that writer, Michael Dougherty will now also be directing the sequel to Godzilla. Originally Michael Dougherty was hired alongside his “Krampus” co-writer Zach Shields to write future sequels in the Monster cinematic universe, dubbed the MonsterVerse.
