IGN scored the first look at the all-new English dub trailer for the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. This new trailer focuses on the 20 to 30-minute prologue that set-ups the fate of Planet Vegeta, and the survivors of the Saiyan Race. Fans of the franchise, will notice that this portion of the film will adapt Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Minus, which featured the debut of Goku’s mother, Gine. Now, this trailer was also made available to attendees at this year’s New York Comic Con.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly was first announced back in July, with its release in Japan scheduled for December 14. Whereas, Funimation Entertainment announced one week later they would distribute the film to North America in January 2019. First English dub trailer for the film was released during this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece Film Z) is directing the film with Naohiro Shintani (One Piece) serving as animation director, and Kazuo Ogura (The Garden of Sinners) as the art director.
