SDCC 2019: Thor Love and Thunder

Earlier this week we learned that Taika Waititi would return to direct Thor 4. Now, we have confirmation of the film itself, as it is titled “Thor Love and Thunder.” I think that is going to be the best MCU movie title until something better comes along. Also, we have some small details about the upcoming film regarding its cast. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are both set to return. However, one of the biggest “pops” of the night was that Natalie Portman will be returning in this film as…

SDCC 2019: Hawkeye

It is Hawkguy… Hawkeye, that is right the archer of the MCU is set to get his own Disney+ series. However, we already knew that, but the release date is Fall 2021. I have to say out of all the Disney+ series I am not that excited for this one. Yes, Kate Bishop will be in this show which I am hooked for the most, but outside of that I am unsure. Now, if they go by the Matt Fraction/ David Aja run of Hawkeye, I will buy Disney+ and…

SDCC 2019: Marvel WHAT IF…?

We have learned some more details about the upcoming MCU animated series. The series is set to star Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher. Now, this is the first animated series that is going to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so I am interested in seeing what type of animation they will be using. We could have an anthology film with different episodes using different animation styles implemented. Yet, as long as it is not like the current Avengers Assemble/ Spider-Man show then I will be happy; it is not…

The Loki Disney + series is set to launch Spring 2021! The series is set to follow Loki after what happens in Endgame for that character. Now, I am interested in seeing what this series could get to when it comes Loki as our main character. Could he go back to his old ways and plot against Thor who is off world, or will he start his own hero’s journey and become someone the Avengers could rely on? Tom Hiddleston was quoted saying the following at the panel: “This is one…

SDCC 2019: Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings

FINALLY, we have confirmation on the upcoming Shang-Chi film. Readers can obviously tell I, Ben, am happy that one of my favorite martial artists in the MCU will be getting his own film. Now, the film is called Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. This means we are getting the real Mandarin and not that knockoff from Iron Man 3. I am so glad that the Mandarin will be the villain in this film, as it makes more sense that he would work better with Shang-Chi instead of…
