New York Comic Con to Host Cowboy Bebop Writer & Designers

Yesterday, Funimation Entertainment announced that it will be bringing screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, and mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane to New York Comic Con. They will be attending as guests to appear at the Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary retrospective panel. In addition, Funimation is hosting a contest to win a dinner with all three staff members. Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story Trailers Streamed

The official Japanese Pokémon Youtube channel has updated with new trailers for Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story. The latest trailers feature a look at the main characters as well as the new Pokémon species, Zeraora. The film’s cast and staff for the film were revealed earlier this June.  The film will focus on Lugia and the new Legendary Pokémon named Zeraora. The film takes place during the annual Wind Festival at Frau City. The official website for Studio Trigger’s and Tsuburaya Productions’ SSSS.Gridman anime released an all new trailer for the upcoming series. In addition, the site revealed a new character appearing in the series, as well as more staff. The new character in the anime, Alexis Kerib, who could seemingly be a new antagonist of the series, replacing Khan Digifier. Yesterday, Netflix announced the premiere dates for several upcoming anime series and films. Among the titles announced was the confirmation for the international release of the second installment in Godzilla anime trilogy. The second film the trilogy, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, is the direct sequel to the 2017 film, Planet of the Monsters. ANN has recently reported about their coverage at the Sunrise panel at Anime Expo 2018, which revealed that Yasuo Miyakawa, Sunrise’s president and CEO, has recently announced that a live-action adaptation of the Gundam franchise is in the works. Ultraman Manga Anime Adaptation to Premiere on Netflix Worldwide

The 12th compiled volume of the Ultraman manga has revealed that the anime adaptation will be having a worldwide simultaneous release on Netflix in Spring 2019. The Ultraman anime adaptation will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki. The anime is being produced by Production I.G with the help of Sola Digital Arts. For those who are unaware, the Ultraman manga is written by Eiichi Shimizu and illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi.
