Voltron Week – Day 7: Trendmasters Die-Cast Voltron Review

We finally come to the final day in Voltron Week, which is a blast from the past! Here I have I seemingly restored Trendmasters Die-Cast Deluxe Voltron that I believe was released to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the series, as this toy came out before the 3rd Dimension. Growing up in the 90’s this was the go to Voltron if one did not have any of the originals from the 80’s, and fit perfectly well since Voltron was syndicated on a few channels, specifically on Cartoon Network during Toonami.…

Voltron Week – Day 6: Voltron Legendary Defender Deluxe Voltron Review

For Day 6, we assemble our Legendary Lions to form Voltron, Defender of the Universe! This new incarnation is a hefty 16″ inches tall and now activates further sounds within the Black Lion featuring dialog between our pilots, the other paladins besides Shiro. However, the Deluxe Voltron does have significant flaws! There is quality issues among the toys where Blue’s and/or Yellow’s front legs cannot endure the weight of the combination as the heels; it is a rare occurrence that is now being noticed further by the fandom too. Another…

Voltron Week – Day 5: Voltron Legendary Defender Black Lion Review

For the fifth day in Voltron Week one should expect it to be the Legendary Black Lion, which completes the team of lions! This new Black Lion for Legendary Defender features lights and sounds, a new gimmick for practically any Voltron thus far. Especially if one either uses the “Try Me” function before purchasing and opening the toy! Yet, for its overall…

Voltron Week – Day 4: Voltron Legendary Defender Red Lion Review

The fourth day features the final limb of Voltron, the Red Lion who is currently piloted by Keith. Now, for original fans of the series this is one of those crazy changes that at least makes sense since back in the day he always wore RED! The design is the same as Green, but the minor changes made for Red are still wonderful. Hell it features my favorite signature cannon via design. Voltron Week – Day 1: Voltron Legendary Defender Blue Lion Review

The stars perfectly aligned for me to present this themed week of reviews that coexist with release of the series’ second season! The first five days will look at the Voltron Legendary Defender Legendary Lions with Saturday featuring Voltron itself. All concluding with from the past! Anyways I thought it was best to begin the week in general showcasing the first Lion the pilots found, the Blue Lion. The Blue Lion quickly becomes Lance’s partner and brings out heroes to the Castle of Lions to claim the other four. Now,…
