The Hollywood Reporter has reported that David Dastmalchian is joining the cast of The Suicide Squad as Polka-Dot Man. David has in been in several live-action adaptations of comic book movies such as Thomas Schiff in The Dark Knight and more recently as Kurt in both the MCU Ant-Man films. In the comics, Abner Krill aka Polka-Dot Man made his debut appearance in Detective Comics #300, which released in 1962. Abner was a low tier crook who uses spots in both his costume and tools. Variety has reported that John Cena is in talks to join the cast of “The Suicide Squad.” In addition it has been confirmed that Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney will be returning to portray Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang, respectively. Ewan McGregor in Talks to Play Black Mask in DC’s “Birds of Prey”

Variety has reported that Ewan McGregor is in talks to portray Black Mask in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, “Birds of Prey.”    For those are not aware, the film will focus on the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Windstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as they team-up to fight against Black Mask.
