Joel McHale Joins DC Universe Stargirl Cast as Starman

Variety has reported that Joel McHale will be joining the cast of the upcoming DC Universe exclusive Stargirl series as Sylvester Pemberton, who is also known as Starman. The character is stated to be depicted as the “Golden Age Starman” and he will have a reoccurring role in the series.   For those who are not aware, Sylvester Pemberton made his debut appearance in Action Comics #40, which was released in September 1941. Anjelika Washington Joins DC Universe’s Stargirl Cast

The official DC Universe website has updated with the announcement that Anjelika Washington will be joining the cast for the upcoming DC Universe exclusive Stargirl series.  For those who are not aware, the series was first announced at San Diego Comic Con 2018. Earlier this September, it was revealed that Brec Bassinger will be playing Stargirl in the series. Several news outlets have reported that Brec Bassinger has been cast as Stargirl in the upcoming live-action Stargirl series, which will available exclusively on DC Universe. Mattel DC Multiverse SDCC 2018 Reveals [Updated]

[UPDATE 7/21/2018] Thanks to a new video by Dan Eardley aka Pixel Dan, who also moderated the DC Multiverse panel, we now have some clearer information for the upcoming waves of figures from Mattel.  Starting with the Aquaman movie wave, the Collect and Connect wave actually contains four figures instead of five. Stargirl Series Coming to DC Universe

Here we have some more news coming out of San-Diego Comic-Con. From the Geoff Johns panel we’ve learned that Stargirl will have a live-action series on the app. To quote some information from The Hollywood Reporter. “Geoff Johns, who revealed the news during his spotlight panel, will write and exec produce the 13-episode scripted original series via his Mad Ghost Productions banner.
