Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger – Tenth Kyuranger Revealed?

A new magazine shot has surfaced online that reveals that a tenth Kyuranger will possibly be appearing on the show. *Keep in mind this news hasn’t been 100% confirmed so please take this with a grain of salt. The tenth Kyuranger will apparently be named RyuuCommander and his identity will be none other than the Kyuranger’s mentor, Shon Ronbou.  Hopefully some full confirmation will be revealed soon in the near future, but for now stay tuned for updates.  Uchu Sentai Kyuranger will premiere on February 12. Uchu Sentai Kyuuranger Trailer

Yesterday, TV-Asahi released a full trailer for Uchu Sentai Kyuuranger. The trailer highlights each of the Kyuurangers, villains, and mecha. Furthermore, the trailer is accompanied by the show’s opening theme song, LUCKY STAR. The series is schedule to succeed Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger on Feburary 12 as a part of Super Hero Time block. Kyuuranger will feature Takayuki Shibasaki as its head director and Nobuhiro Mouri as head writer. Shibasaki and Mouri previously worked together on Go-Busters, OOO, and Gaim. Today (JST), in the August issue of Jump SQ it revealed the cast, staff and plot for the new Blue Exorcist anime series, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Impure King Arc (Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujō Ō-hen), that will air in 2017. The staff for the series has gone through some changes as original director, Tensai Okamura is replaced by Koichi Hatsumi (Deadman Wonderland), and Toshiya Ono (Gatchaman Crowds) replaces Ryota Yamaguchi as handler of series composition.
