Alan Tudyk Cast As Mr. Nobody in Doom Patrol

Deadline has reported that Alan Tudyk has joined the cast of the upcoming Doom Patrol live-action series. He will be playing Eric Mordern aka Mr. Nobody.  For those who are not familiar with the character, Eric Mordern was first introduced in Doom Patrol#86 and was transformed into Mr. Nobody in Doom Patrol, Vol. 2, #26. Eric Mordern was exposed to unknown experiments by a team of ex-Nazis located in post-war Paraguay.  The experiments caused him to obtain the ability to emerge as a living shadow and steal the sanity of others. Brendan Fraser Cast as Robotman in DC’s Doom Patrol

Dealine has reported that Brendan Fraser will be providing the over voice for Robotman in DC’s Doom Patrol. While he will be voicing the character, he will also be portraying Cliff Steele before he became Robotman. It has also been revealed that Riley Shanahan will be playing the physical appearance for the character. Mattel DC Multiverse SDCC 2018 Reveals [Updated]

[UPDATE 7/21/2018] Thanks to a new video by Dan Eardley aka Pixel Dan, who also moderated the DC Multiverse panel, we now have some clearer information for the upcoming waves of figures from Mattel.  Starting with the Aquaman movie wave, the Collect and Connect wave actually contains four figures instead of five. Doom Patrol TV Series Announced For DC Universe Streaming Service

DC Entertainment has recently announced that a new Doom Patrol TV series will be joining the lineup for their DC Universe streaming service. The series will be produced by Berlanti Productions with the help of Warner Bros. Television. The first season of the series is currently set to 13 episodes and is said to start production later this year with the series releasing on the service in 2019.  Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter will serve as executive producers on the project. After the initial announcement last year, details have been scarce for the upcoming DC Entertainment streaming service. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service.
