Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. It is amazing to see the Star Wars Vintage Collection toyline back on store shelves even if the first wave is filled with questionable choices. It is understandable that Hasbro needed to fill the line with characters based on the newer films from a marketing perspective, however it does crutch it a bit since many of the figures they are repacking are still shelf warming Walmart stores to this day.
That being said it is great to see at least one figure from the older movies make its way into what is considered the Star Wars Vintage Collection 2.0 line. The Hoth Rebel trooper is a great figure even if it is technically a repack of an older figure. The articulation is up to the standards of the Vintage Collection and I am glad to finally get a new figure on the VC card after all these years. In conclusion, I can’t wait to see what else is in store for the revival of the Vintage Collection and I cannot recommend getting this figure enough.
