Just before the DC Fandome event, The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Ben Affleck will be returning to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/ Batman in “The Flash” film.  This news comes as a surprise as the actor previously announced that he would not be reprising his role as the character in any future projects. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a new DC animated film is set to release in 2021. The new film will feature a brand new story that is not based on an existing comic story line.
