“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” CG Reboot Film In the Works

Deadline has reported that a new CG animated film reboot is currently in the works. It is said that Nickelodeon is teaming up with Point Grey Pictures’ Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver to produce the produce the film. Jeff Rowe will be working on the screenplay for the film with Paramount Pictures working to distribute the film globally. Ramsey Naito, Nick’s EVP of Animation Production and Development, will be overseeing the project for Nickelodeon, while Josh Fargen will oversee Point Grey Pictures’ production side. Several news outlets have reported that Paramount Pictures is producing a theatrical animated prequel film for the Transformers. The film will feature an origin story for the Transformers, which will take place on Cybertron.
