It has been reported that Sony Pictures and Toei Animation are collaborating on a live-action adaptation of the Saint Seiya anime franchise. Currently titled, “Knights of the Zodiac,” the film’s name is derived from the series’ international release for areas like Latin America and North America. The official Star Trek website has updated with an announcement of the villain cast for Star Trek: Prodigy.  For those who are not aware, the series is an upcoming animated series that will premiere on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon later this year.  As reported earlier the first season of the series will consist of 10 episodes. Variety has reported that a live-action film based on the DC Comics character Black Canary has been greenlit for HBO Max. The film will be written by Misha Green.  The film will also see the return of Sue Kroll under her production company, Kroll & Co. Entertainment.  Jurnee Smollet is set to reprise her role as Black Canary in the film, however no other cast members have been revealed. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that a new film based on the DC Comics character Catwoman is in the works at DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
